At The Larimar Shop, we pride ourselves on offering high-quality Larimar pieces from the Dominican Republic. We understand that there may be times when you need to return your item. To ensure a smooth process, please review our return policy below.
Refund Policy
Restocking Fee
We have eliminated the restocking fee to make returns easier for our customers.
Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs.
Eligibility
Items must be returned within 30 days of delivery, in their original condition without signs of wear or damage and must be in all original packaging (bag, box, and pouch included).
Non-Refundable Items
Gift cards, custom orders, and resized jewelry are non-refundable.
Refunds
Returning an item
Initiate a Return: Contact our customer service team at cust.serv@thelarimarshop.com to initiate a return. Provide your order number and the reason for the return.
Approval: Once your return request is approved, we will provide you with the return shipping address and instructions.
Ship the Item: Securely pack the item and ship it to the address provided. You are responsible for the return shipping costs. Once you send your package out, please email us the tracking information; this last step is a must to avoid any delays in the process.
Inspection and Refund: Upon receipt of the returned item, we will inspect it. If it meets our return criteria, we will process your refund. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Please notice our courier partner in Florida will receive the return pieces and then ship them to the Dominican Republic; this will add 5-7 days before they get to the Dominican Republic.
Exchanges
How can I exchange my Larimar piece?
Initiate an Exchange: Contact our customer service team at cust.serv@thelarimarshop.com to initiate an exchange. Provide your order number and the reason for the exchange.
Approval: Once your exchange request is approved, we will provide you with the exchange shipping address and instructions.
Ship the Item: Securely pack the item and ship it to the address provided. You are responsible for the return shipping costs.
Shipping Fee for New Item: A $15 shipping fee will apply to ship the new item from the Dominican Republic to your location. This fee covers the cost of sending the exchanged item to you.
Receive the New Item: Once we receive the original item and the $15 shipping fee is processed, we will ship the new item to you.
Custom Orders and Resized Jewelry
Non-Returnable and Non-Exchangeable: Custom-made items and resized jewelry are made specifically for you and cannot be returned or exchanged. We encourage you to confirm all details before placing an order for custom or resized items.
Shop Errors and Defective Items
No Additional Fees: If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item sent, defective product), we will cover all shipping costs and ensure you receive the correct item without any additional fees.
Replacement or Refund: We will offer a replacement at no additional cost or a full refund, including the original shipping cost.
