Returns & Exchanges
At The Larimar Shop, we pride ourselves on offering high-quality Larimar pieces from the Dominican Republic. We understand that there may be times when you need to return or exchange your item. To ensure a smooth process, please review our policies below.
Eligibility
- Return Window: Items must be returned within 30 days of placing the order.
- Condition: Items must be in their original condition, unworn, undamaged, and include all original packaging (bag, box, and pouch).
- Non-Refundable Items: Gift cards, custom orders, and resized jewelry are non-refundable.
Important notice: Custom-made items and resized jewelry are made specifically for you and cannot be returned or exchanged. We encourage you to confirm all details before placing an order for custom or resized items.
Returning an item
- Initiate a Return: Contact our customer service team at cust.serv@thelarimarshop.com with your order number and reason for the return.
- Approval: Once approved, we will provide the return shipping address and instructions.
- Ship the Item: Securely pack and ship the item to the provided address. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Please email us the tracking information to avoid delays.
- Inspection and Refund: Upon receipt, we will inspect the item. If it meets our criteria, we will process your refund to the original payment method.
Exchange Process
- Initiate an Exchange: Contact our customer service team at cust.serv@thelarimarshop.com with your order number and the reason for the exchange. If you already know which item you’d like to exchange for, please include the item name or link in your email to speed up the process.
- Approval: Once approved, we will provide the exchange shipping address and instructions.
- Ship the Item: Securely pack and ship the item to the provided address. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- Shipping Fee for New Item: A $15 shipping fee applies to ship the new item from the Dominican Republic to your location.
- Receive the New Item: Once we receive the original item and process the shipping fee, we will ship the new item to you.
Shop Errors and Defective Items
No Additional Fees: If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item sent, defective product), we will cover all shipping costs and ensure you receive the correct item without any additional fees.
Replacement or Refund: We will offer a replacement at no additional cost or a full refund, including the original shipping cost.
Custom Orders and Resized Jewelry
Non-Returnable and Non-Exchangeable: Custom-made items and resized jewelry are made specifically for you and cannot be returned or exchanged. We encourage you to confirm all details before placing an order for custom or resized items.
Additional Information
Shipping Timeline: Our courier partner in Florida will receive return items before forwarding them to the Dominican Republic, adding 3–5 days to the process.
Location: We are located in the Dominican Republic. International shipping can be costly; while we strive to keep fees low, some charges are necessary to cover costs.
